Wow haven't updated in a while. Summer is almost over!

17-month old Candace can now say a lot of words! She can call all her close ones by name: "mama, dea dea, yea yea, mah mah, por por, gung gung, bat bat..." She is also a lot more mischievous now and will have temper tantrums if she doesn't get her way! Oh no! I'm not looking forward to the terrible twos. She's is much more melodramatic than Sol-B!

A new sibling really makes things much more interesting for the older child. Mui Mui and Sol-B can now kind of play together or at least participate in things together.

I got a used wagon from Kijiji. Mui Mui and Sol-B rode in it for the first time this past weekend. At first Mui Mui was very nervous and grabbed onto the the sides. But soon she was turning in her seat!

Two Saturdays ago, Sol-B won 2nd place at his school's Chinese recite competition! We are so proud of him! This is all thank's to Mah Mah's practice sessions! haha

Silly daddy totally messed up the recording and ended up recording the floor! He's more nervous than him! Oh well..I'll still post it. Sol-B was a little too fast and too soft, otherwise I think he'll have a shot at first place!

I thought here I should post up all of Sol-B's poem performances, so that I can look back on it later. Seriously, I only know maybe 2 of these poems, so I am actually learning from him! haha! Enjoy!

Mui Mui Kisses Sol-B big brother

Sol-B loves his little sister and Candace thinks Sol-B her bro is her hero! She loves to be near him especially when he is playing. She even loves to play with his slippers as if they are the "good stuff".

She purposely butts her forehead against Sol-B to kiss him. She doesn't do this to anyone but him, not even mommy!

Happy 1 year Candace

Candace is 1 year old! Time passes by so fast! She is taking her first steps. She started cruising at 11 months and just took a few steps on her own this past week. I have yet to captured that on video. She is really daring compared to Sol-B! Sol-B has really spoiled us because he hardly moved as a baby!
